Lighthouses of Australia
Initially a one-man project
undertaken to promote and coordinate the presentation
of Australian lighthouses on the internet, it has been extended to include
the preservation, protection and promotion of lighthouse heritage within
Australia.
The Long Now Foundation
The Long Now Foundation seeks to promote "slower/better" thinking and to foster
creativity in the framework of the next 10,000 years. One of their initial projects
(started in 01996) is to develop a 10,000 year clock.
